"The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do."

For me, my relationships come first (although, pizza is a very close second). I'm lucky to be a partner, a sister, a daughter, a friend, an aunt and so many more titles. My passport is full of stamps that remind of the people and places I've been fortunate enough to see. I've had amazing adventures and I've seen indescribable beauty in seemingly mundane moments. One thing I know for sure is that  life, in all its unwavering challenges, really is a beautiful thing. Your world, your chaotic beautiful life deserves to be remembered in all its authentic glory.

On my days off you can find me in the mountains cursing my way up a new peak or cuddled on the couch with one of my fur babies eating pizza. I'm a born and raised calgarian although I moved to Ontario for university and spent most of my 20's train/plane/bus hopping my way through 30 countries. The ocean is my happy place and once I learned I couldn't actually become a mermaid I decided learning to scuba dive would be the closest thing. I'm always looking for next great adventure and the next delicious snack!

Bolivia

The floating Uros Islands of Lake Titicaca are absolute magic, I can't put into words what it was like doing a homestay there.
Salar de Uyuni - the worlds largest salt flat is otherworldly but if you really want to feel like you're on Mars check out Sol de Mañana.
If you've got a strong stomach, make sure you cycle death road!

Colombia

From Cartagena to Cali the culture in Colombia is incredible but I have to say my favorite memory was my journey to Punta Gallinas, South America's most northern point. To say it was difficult to get to would be an understatement but sometimes the journey is half the adventure.

Botswana

Baby Rhino's, Safari limos, the Okavango Delta, Botswana is full of adventure but I found it was the people who made it a truly remarkable place. I met the most incredible woman who taught me how to weave baskets, her life story is something I will hold dear in my heart.
